Our Terms and Conditions
Please Read Carefully – This Agreement governs the terms under which bullion is bought and sold by Bullion Mart.
1. Definitions
For the purpose of Bullion Mart Terms of Sale, the following terms are defined below;
- “Seller” will refer to Bullion Mart and related companies, and its directors, and employees (hereinafter “BM”, “we”, “us” or “our”) that are authorized to deal in bullion.
- “Customer”, “you” will refer to someone who enters into a purchase or a sale transaction of bullion or related products with BM.
- “Business Days” shall mean our normal work days of Monday through Saturday, excluding weekends and federal holidays.
- “Locked-in” will refer to the time a purchase or sale transaction is confirmed and the price is fixed. The price, calculated based on the spot price at the time of the transaction is locked-in regardless of market fluctuations.
- “Online Store” will refer to the Bullion Mart online gold, silver, platinum and/or palladium store found at http://www.bullionmart.ca;
- “Products” will refer to items found at our online store, in addition to mining materials, refined and unrefined jewelry, dore and other goods related to the precious metals industry.
2. Bullion Policy
In regard to purchasing bullion or precious metals products from Bullion Mart, the sale price offered to Customer is locked and the transaction cannot be canceled once a confirmation has been issued. After you have paid your order in full, we will gladly buy-back your order, even if you haven’t received delivery of your products yet.
In regards to selling to Bullion Mart the offered price is locked and the transaction cannot be canceled once a confirmation has been issued. The only option is to offset at the current buying price. You are responsible for paying any deficit between the offered price and the offset price.
3. Price Confirmation
When buying from us, your final price is locked in and your order cannot be cancelled once we have issued a confirmation number. Payment must be made within 24 hours of the time the purchase is confirmed and a confirmation number has been issued and received by Bullion Mart.
If a purchase/order is cancelled, a cancellation fee of $100 and any market loss will be applied and the customer has to pay the charges.
When selling to us, the sale price is locked in and the sale cannot be cancelled once we have issued a confirmation number. All sales to us must be shipped within 24 hours. If we do not receive the items within 5 business days, we reserve the right to purchase items at current market value or decline the sale to us. Upon receipt and verification of said bullion, you will receive the payment within 10 business days. All purchases or sales with Bullion Mart constitute a legally binding agreement.
4. Order Confirmation and Invoice
After you have placed your order on our Online Store, we shall then send you in writing a confirmation of your order via email.
You shall take all steps necessary, including updating address books and adjusting spam or junk-mail filters, to ensure that you can receive all e-mails from us, complete with any attachments, in furtherance of this Agreement.
5. Order Liquidation
When you place your order, you enter into a binding contractual agreement with us to remit payment in full based on the prevailing market purchase price agreed upon at the time your order was placed. Should you choose to buy-back your order prior to the date of delivery, you must do so during regular business hours, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm EST, we will liquidate your position, subject to our Bullion Buyback Policy as well as $100 cancellation fee, based on the prevailing market purchase price at the time of buy-back. You will be liable for any difference in the event of market loss. If the prevailing market price of the items has gone up since your order any gain will remain our property.
6. Payment Policy
A. Payment shall be in Canadian Dollars and US Dollars only
B. Methods of Payment
Bullion Mart accepts the following methods of payment:
- Interac E-Transfer
- Bank wire transfer: No holding period
- Bank draft: All bank drafts will be held for 5 business days.
- Certified cheque: All certified cheques will be held for 5 business days.
- Cashier’s cheque: All cashier’s cheques will be held for 5 business days.
- Personal cheque: All cheques will be held for 15 business days.
C. Client Sale Transactions Payment
Clients may receive payment for Client Sale Transactions in the following ways:
- Bank wire (CAD or USD).
- Cheque by FedEx (CAD or USD). There is a $25.00 service fee.
- Cheque by regular mail (CAD or USD). With no service fee.
Processing and payment for Client Sale Transactions may take up to up to two business days from receipt of the Precious Metals.
BM Points
- BM Points are accumulated on purchase of Bullion and Numismatics.
- BM Points are available only for registered users and not for guest customers.
- BM Points are added to customers account only after an order is completed.
- Customers earn 1 BM point for shopping of 1 Canadian dollar e.g. if a customer shops for 1500 dollars and the order is completed then the customer receives 1500 BM points.
- Customers can redeem these points only if they have accumulated at least 10,000 BM points
- Customers can redeem a maximum of 10000 BM points and get a discount of CAD 10. Remaining BM points can be redeemed later on.
- Once a customers accumulates 10000 or more BM points, CAD 10 discount is automatically applied to the next order.
- Minimum order value to redeem the points is CAD 800.
- Points will be cancelled if the order is cancelled.
- Points applied to refunded orders will be stored back to customers’ accounts.
- Points will expire after 180 days.
7. Shipping Policy
We ship all of our packages discreetly and insured to the nearest post office to the address provided by the Customer. We require a signature upon delivery of all of our packages, a signature upon delivery is mandatory. While we will try our best to ensure signature, we do not guarantee the operations of the shipping company. Our insurance will cover the shipment until it receives a direct signature or the courier company deems it delivered.
At Bullion Mart, we are committed to delivering your orders securely and efficiently. Please read the following shipping terms and conditions before placing your order:
1. Shipping Charges

Orders below $500 CAD: A flat shipping fee applies at checkout.

Orders from $500 CAD to $1000 CAD:

Free standard shipping via Canada Post.

Customers may choose expedited FedEx shipping for a flat fee.

Orders of above $1000 CAD : Enjoy free shipping with full insurance.
2. Shipping Methods & Insurance

Canada Post Shipments:

Canada Post provides a maximum insurance coverage of $500 CAD.

If you choose Canada Post, you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage exceeding this amount.

Bullion Mart is not liable for uninsured losses once the package is handed over to Canada Post.

FedEx Shipments:

Customers can opt for expedited FedEx shipping at a flat rate.

All FedEx shipments include full insurance coverage for the total order value.

3. Delivery Confirmation & Liability

Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier—whether to the customer’s address or a designated post office—Bullion Mart holds no responsibility or liability for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the package or to follow up with the carrier for retrieval.
4. Additional Conditions

Orders are shipped only after payment is confirmed.

A signature may be required upon delivery.

Bullion Mart is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or other external factors after dispatch.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these shipping terms and conditions, including responsibility for the selected shipping method and associated risks.
Our Canadian orders are shipped by way of FedEx or Canada Post. Our U.S. orders are shipped by FedEx, UPS or the United States Postal Service.
Please note that insurance grant with Canada Post is a maximum of CAD 500.00. If customer wants full insurance then it has to be with FedEX in which case, the shipping is payable as per FedEX charges.
Indicating a signature is required and/or giving permission for someone other than yourself to sign for your deliveries voids your insurance. This includes leaving your package with an office attendant, family member, building concierge, neighbour, or Mail Boxes etc. locations. Under the aforementioned circumstances your package will be void of insurance.
Pre-Sale Shipping: If a customer is ordering a pre-sale item, they acknowledge there will be significant delays in shipping the products.
Please Note: Without shipping insurance, Bullion Mart is not liable in case of any loss or damage.
A. Delivery time
Delivery can be expected anywhere from 1-7 business days from the payment receipt date.
From time to time, reductions in our product inventory resulting from an increased demand for certain products and other reasons may delay shipping.
If we cannot ship your order within the delivery time represented to you at the time of purchase, we will inform you we are unable to meet the delivery date, and that you may elect to either voluntarily liquidate your product order (have us buy-back your order); or continue to await delivery by the new delivery date we will give you, which will be based on our best information at that time.
B. Shipping method
We reserve the right to substitute a different shipping method than selected on the order. We will contact the customer and notify them of any changes.
C. Shipping Options
We offer 100% insurance to the address provided on the order plus a signature required upon delivery. Should any customer choose to re-direct a shipment to any other location and/or waive the signature option, that customer will incur all risk and liability associated with delivery of the package. Once your package has been signed for, insurance is no longer valid and your investment is safe in your hands!
D. Bullion Mart Shipping and Insurance Fees
Shipping costs may be flat rate, free, or dependent on weight, dimensions and destination. To obtain an accurate, real-time quote, initiate checkout and select the appropriate destination.
IMPORTANT: There are no taxes applied to purchase and sale of gold and silver bullion with purity of .999, however HST taxes are applied to the cost associated with shipping and insurance.
E. Shipping to Non-Residential Addresses
Bullion Mart provides delivery of packages to any physical address located in North America. However, Bullion Mart cannot be held responsible for packages delivered to a business address or third party.
F. Post Office Boxes
Bullion Mart provides delivery to clients with P.O BOX addresses. A notice to pick up your package will be left in your box. A signature and one piece of valid government issued photo I.D. is required for pick up.
8. Advice
The Customer warrants that Bullion Mart has not offered or provided any investment advice to the Customer. The Customer warrants that Bullion Mart has not provided the Customer with any opinion in regards to the suitability of any of its products or services.
9. Possible System Failure
Online order entry systems are designed to provide efficient and reliable methods for placing orders. However, internet service providers are not 100% reliable. The Customer acknowledges that Bullion Mart is not responsible for the failure of any of these systems.
10. Internet Security
We are committed to maintaining the highest security measures to protect Customer information against theft, loss, corruption and to protect against the misuse of this information. We use only the highest industry standard secure server (SSL) for transferring client and credit card information across the internet.
We strive to ensure all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
11. Intellectual Property, Branding, and Trademarks
All of the intellectual property including trademarks, trade names, copyrights and other rights on this website are and will remain the sole property of Bullion Mart. All information and material supplied by BM is part of BM’s confidential information. No Customer may reproduce, copy, or disclose said information without prior written consent from BM.
12. Compliance and Due Diligence
The Customer is solely responsible for conforming with all laws in the jurisdiction from which the Customer accesses the BM website. The Customer ensures that the purchase or the sale of Precious Metals is in compliance with all laws of the Customer’s jurisdiction and the acceptance of the Order and Cancellation Policy by the Customer and the entrance into a Customer Purchase Transaction or a Customer Sale Transaction is in compliance with all federal, provincial, state or applicable regulation to the Customer.
Please note: Any order over C$10,000 requires proof of ID. However, Bullion Mart holds the right to request for two pieces of IDs, payment transaction receipts, for compliance purpose. Please rest assured all information is for office records only and none will be disclosed or shared with any third party.
13. Reservations of Right
Bullion Mart reserves the following rights unto its self:
A. Right to Refuse Service to Anyone
Bullion Mart reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or corporation.
B. Right to Correct Erroneous Orders
Bullion Mart reserves the right to correct any order for errors or computer or price related problems. We will make a good faith effort to notify you of any correction of your order.
C. Right to Cancel Any Pending Sales
Bullion Mart reserves the right to cancel any pending sale at any time for any reason. If we exercise this right, we shall cancel your order including delivery of your products, and we shall notify you and refund you all monies you may have paid to us on your order, less any costs and fees associated with cancelling your order.
D. Right to Accept or Reject Any Late or Defective Payment After Market Comparison
Bullion Mart reserves the right to either, (1) accept any late or defective payment, including liquidation payments, after a market comparison to determine what is most advantageous for us, or (2) reject any such late or other defective payment, including liquidation payments, that don’t comply with the terms of this Agreement
E. Right to Withhold Shipment for Unpaid Multiple Orders Right of Offset
In the event you place multiple orders with us and pay for one or more orders, but fail to properly pay for other orders, we reserve the right to withhold shipment on any paid orders, until the unpaid orders have been resolved to our satisfaction, including the Right of Offset.
The “Right of Offset”, shall mean our right to apply any customer’s paid order’s proceeds and product against any of that customer’s other unpaid order’s proceeds and product. If the customer shall thereafter have a net balance owed to us, we may thereafter involuntarily liquidate the remaining net balance owed as provided herein. If the customer shall have a net balance remaining for shipment, then we shall ship the remaining portion of the order as provided herein.
F. Right to Charge Credit Card
Bullion Mart reserves the right to charge the credit card you have provided for any market losses incurred by Bullion Mart as a result of your failure to fulfill any obligation.
G. Right to Hold Monies and Shipment to comply with FINTRAC regulations
We hereby also reserve the right to liquidate, cancel or rescind any transaction in which we are unable to obtain or verify information needed to comply with FINTRAC financial standards, or any other related statutes, rules, regulations, or any other law of every kind and nature.
H. Right to Change Bullion Terms of Sale
Bullion Mart reserves the right to change the Bullion Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
G. Right to Identity
Bullion Mart reserves the right to verify the identity of a person or corporation that engages in business with us. This can be through asking for additional pieces of Government Issued ID, Articles of Incorporation, Corporate Documents or the like. We will protect the privacy of our customers and will not give this information out to any third parties.
14. Interpretation
This Agreement constitutes the entire and whole agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter thereof and is intended as a complete and exclusive statement of its terms. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and all parties hereby submit and attorn to the jurisdiction of the Courts of that Province.
15. Privacy Policy
Bullion Mart does not distribute, sell, rent, or loan any Customer information to any third party. Your information is only used for your Bullion Mart account. Bullion Mart only collects personal information when necessary either for the completion of a Transaction or as required by law.
If you have voluntarily provided personally identifiable information, including but not limited to, your name, organization, phone number, or email address (business or personal), you have provided an expressed consent to Bullion Mart and therefore agreed to the collection and use of your personally identifiable information as described in this privacy policy.
Bullion Mart will not use personally identifiable information for any purpose outside of the implied business relationship. In order to achieve the goals of the anti-spam legislation, Bullion Mart will ensure to act in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. To enable compliance, commercial electronic messages (including email marketing messages/whatsapp messages) will be actively distributed only to the individuals that have provided their expressed consent by submitting their personal information via a web form.
Bullion Mart preserves its rights to send commercial electronic messages to the groups of individuals that have not provided their expressed consent in the case when we have a pre-existing business relationship with the individual as in these particular cases consent is considered to be implied.
Individuals that “Unsubscribe” from receiving emails from our company, and/or Partners and Associates will be automatically removed from any further communications and their expressed consent will be considered revoked as of that date. This is in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL), effective July 1, 2014.
Payment Refund Policy & Terms
Payment charges from the transaction are non-refundable, and we reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange. You are responsible for any and all charges including fraudulent chargebacks related to the return and exchange of the product such as administrative fee, processing cost or brokerage charges etc incurred by the business.
