The Walking Liberty design features Lady Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun as it crests over the peak of a mountain in the distance. She has the American flag over her shoulders and carries branches of oak and laurel. Inscriptions on this side include Liberty, In God We Trust, and 2021.

Reverse

The heraldic eagle of the United States of America appears on the American Eagle Silver Coin for the final time on the reverse of these 2022 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin Tubes. The heraldic eagle depicts the American bald eagle in front-facing relief with the US heraldic shield on its chest, the arrows of war in one talon, the olive branch of peace in the other talon, and a triangular cluster of 13 stars overhead. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, and 1 oz Fine Silver One Dollar.
