The Mint won’t be creating any 2023-dated Canadian circulation coins with both the customary reverse designs and an obverse showing Queen Elizabeth II as we concentrate on remembering her reign (1952–2022). Instead, we are providing a collector’s edition of these yearly issues, which were only printed in a small quantity. These coins are non-circulational, which means they are legal tender but not meant for widespread use.
